Yes! Our screens are made from high-impact rigid acrylic perspex, not soft mesh. Even large, energetic dogs like Huskies and German Shepherds cannot scratch through or push them out of the frame when properly installed.

We use a precision micro-perforation process (1.5mm holes). While it reduces airflow slightly compared to wide-open mesh (about 15-20% reduction), it still provides excellent cross-ventilation while completely keeping bugs out.

It's a very simple DIY project. You remove your old mesh and spline, slide our panel into the frame, and secure it with the provided heavy-duty clips and self-tapping screws. All you need is a Phillips head screwdriver (a drill makes it faster) and about 20 minutes.

Our 'Standard' size (24x24 inches) fits about 85% of modern RV and Fifth Wheel bottom door panels. However, we highly recommend measuring your specific frame opening before ordering. If you need a different size, select our 'Custom Cut' option.

Simply wipe it down with a soft microfiber cloth and a mild soap/water solution or plastic-safe cleaner. Do not use abrasive scrubbers or ammonia-based glass cleaners (like Windex) as they can cloud the acrylic over time.

Our perspex material has a UV-resistant coating that prevents the panel itself from yellowing over time, and it provides mild UV filtering for the interior of your RV, though it is completely transparent.
